DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO HERMANUS

From Cape Town International Airport: Hermanus is about 120 km or 1½ hour’s drive from Cape Town International Airport. From the airport turn onto the N2 towards George. Travel past Somerset West (Somerset-Wes) and Grabouw. At Bot River (Botrivier), take the R43 and after travelling about 30 km, the road will lead directly into the centre of Hermanus.

Getting to Hermanus From Cape Town: Hermanus is about 140 km or 2 hour’s drive from Cape Town. Follow the N2 towards George. Travel past Somerset West (Somerset-Wes) and Grabouw. At Bot River (Botrivier), take the R43 and after travelling about 30 km, the road will lead directly into the centre of Hermanus.



Getting to Hermanus from from George/Knynsa: Hermanus is about 370 km or 4 hour’s drive from George. Follow the N2 towards Cape Town. There are two possible routes. About 10 km after Riversonderend, turn left onto the Stanford road. At the stop street in Stanford, turn right towards Hermanus. Travel about 20 km and this road will lead to the centre of town. The second option is to drive past Caledon and to turn off at Bot River (Botrivier) onto the R43 and drive about 30 km to Hermanus.
